Card management and issuing

The full card
lifecycle, managed.

The complete card lifecycle: debit, credit and prepaid.

WHAT IT IS

What CardCore is.

CardCore is INM's card management and transaction platform. It covers the full card lifecycle - product configuration, physical stock and logistics, personalised and non-personalised issuance, activation, limits and blocking - together with a transaction management layer for real-time authorisation, routing and reconciliation. Nothing in it assumes a particular core or a particular network. It sits on top of whatever core banking system the bank already runs, Banka, Finastra Essence or something built in-house, and reaches the local clearing house through an adapter: EMIS over Way4, EPMS and H2H in Angola, whichever domestic switch the market uses elsewhere. Neither choice touches the platform itself. Cards can also be issued on behalf of third parties, as Card-as-a-Service.

THE PLATFORM

The card lifecycle, screen by screen.

WHY IT MATTERS

The whole card business,
one platform.

The whole card business on one platform: product configuration, physical stock and logistics, issuance, activation and blocking, plus real-time transaction authorisation and reconciliation. No external processor sits between the bank and its next feature.

BUILT FOR

For which kind of card operation.

Retail banks with card portfolios at scale

High issuance volumes across debit, credit and prepaid, with a need for centralised product configuration and stock logistics.

Banks with a core and a network already in place

CardCore answers to no single core and no single network. In Angola it talks to EMIS over Way4, EPMS and H2H; in another market an adapter points it at that market's clearing house. No third-party processor, no rewrite.

Corporate and multi-entity card programmes

Fleet cards, additional cards and multi-card credit lines managed under one plafond structure for business customers.

Banks offering Card-as-a-Service

Issue cards on behalf of other entities - loyalty programmes, closed-loop payments, white-label offerings - from the same platform.

ADVANTAGES

One platform for issuing, logistics and transactions.

Product and lifecycle in one place

Create card products, define limits and fees, and manage state transitions from a single configuration layer - no juggling separate systems for issuance and lifecycle.

Physical stock, not an afterthought

Supplier orders, batch delivery, branch distribution and stock forecasting are built into the platform, not bolted on with spreadsheets.

Transactions and reconciliation, integrated

Real-time authorisation, routing and reconciliation run on the same platform that manages the card - not a separate processor to keep in sync.

Issue for the bank, or on behalf of others

The same platform supports direct issuing and Card-as-a-Service for third parties - loyalty cards, closed-loop payments, white-label programmes.

FEATURES

From product configuration to transaction authorisation.

Product management: creation and configuration of card products (credit, debit, prepaid, virtual, fleet), limits, pricing and ACH parameters.

Individual and batch issuance: personalised and non-personalised cards, with file upload for higher-volume requests.

Physical stock management: supplier ordering, branch distribution and replenishment forecasting, with support for multiple warehouses.

Card lifecycle: activation, blocking, unblocking, hotlisting, automatic renewal and PIN management.

Real-time transaction authorisation: processing, routing and reconciliation against the local clearing house, EMIS/Multicaixa in Angola and any other domestic switch through its adapter.

Revolving credit and BNPL: origination, scoring (internal or external) and advanced multi-card plafond management for corporate customers.

Configurable approval workflows: credit limit changes, card issuance, disputes and refunds, with decision matrices defined by the bank.

Card-as-a-Service: API for white-label issuing on behalf of third parties, with external access management.

HOW IT WORKS

From product setup to everyday use, step by step.

01

Product & stock setup

The bank configures card products, limits, fees and BIN-to-core mapping, and places supplier orders for physical stock.

02

Issuance

Cards are issued individually or in batch, personalised or non-personalised, and linked to the customer's account and PIN.

03

Activation & lifecycle

The card is distributed, activated and managed day-to-day - limits, blocking, renewal - with real-time authorisation on every transaction.

04

Reconciliation & reporting

Transactions are reconciled against the network and the core, with stock and SLA dashboards for continuous monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

What is CardCore?

It's INM's card management and transaction platform: it runs the full card lifecycle - product configuration, physical stock, issuance, activation and blocking - plus real-time transaction authorisation and reconciliation, integrated with the bank's core banking system and with domestic card networks.

Does it work with any core banking system?

Yes. The core connection is adapter-based - Banka, Finastra Essence, an in-house legacy system, whatever is already there - over API/ISO, with no change to the central system. The domestic side works the same way: each market's clearing house, EMIS in Angola included, plugs in through an adapter.

Is it available as SaaS or on-premise?

Both. Banks in markets with data-residency requirements usually choose on-premise; SaaS where regulation allows it.

Does CardCore connect directly to EMIS/Multicaixa, and to other clearing houses?

Yes. The EMIS integrations (Way4, EPMS, H2H) are already live in Angola. But the network link is an adapter, not a hard dependency: point it at another clearing house or domestic switch and the rest of the platform is untouched. The same holds for the core, whether that is Banka, Finastra Essence or the bank's own. There is no third-party processor to go through for every change.

Who implements it, and who stays after go-live?

INM's own teams - we don't subcontract implementation. The same team runs, evolves and supports the product 24/7 after go-live.
